About 20 times harder than Mt. Mitchell, too! ( honest) this one doesn't stop!
8% to 10% grades, over & over again.
I was turned back, a mile from the top, by the Park Service- because a BIG storm was rolling in, and rolling down that mountain, in the rain- 40 degrees, with 40 mile an hour winds- just didn't seem smart to do.
I got down the mountain before that all happened-- had a pretty nice descent, too!
